The Remote Sensing Lab of IACM has deployed a second Flux Tower (code: HECMAS), observing CO2 and heat emissions, at a residential area of Heraklion, Crete.  It is linked to our first Tower (code: HECKOR), observing at the city centre, on a continuous basis for more 4 years: http://rslab.gr/heraklion_eddy.html Both Flux Towers provide valuable observations for the urbisphere ERC Synergy Grant and the H2020 and ESA projects led by the Lab, as well as for supporting the climate change model evaluation project for urban areas Urban-PLUMBER (https://urban-plumber.github.io)
