The Greek Organization for Open Technologies (eellak.gr) participates for the third consecutive year in Google Summer Code 2019 competition with 26 proposed actions for open source development and issues a call to all interested university student that wish to participate in any of the aforementioned projects, to submit an application during the period 25 March to 9 April 2019. Professor G.D. Manolis of the Department of Civil Engineering at Aristotle University, Laboratory for Experimental Mechanics, in cooperation with the Researcher Dr. C.G. Panagiotopoulos, from the Institute of Applied and Computational Mathematics, Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (IACM-FORTH, http://www.iacm.forth.gr), participate as mentors in this competition through their computational platform Symplegma (www.symplegma.org). Interested students should keep in mind that participation requires working knowledge of programming languages such as java, groovy.
