Conference on Theoretical and Computational Acoustics
Heraklion, Crete, GREECE
2-5 July 2007
International Conference on Theoretical and Computational Acoustics (ICTCA
2007) will be held in Heraklion, Crete from 2 to 5 July 2007. It will be a
forum for active researchers from different areas of science related to
acoustics, seismics and wave propagation in general, to discuss
state-of-the-art developments and results in their area and also to
stimulate future research in the fields of:
Computational aero-, seismo-,
and ocean-acoustics, hydroacoustics, bioengineering acoustics, nonlinear
acoustics, structural acoustics;
Wave propagation in
borehole, rocks, fluid-solid interfaces, anisotropic media, viscoelastic,
porous and fractured media, as well as random media;
Ultrasonic wave propagation and nondestructive testing;
Scattering and Inverse
Problems in acoustics;
Exploring the ocean and the
sea-bed with acoustics;
Exploring earth structure
from the interpretation and modelling of earthquake data;
experimental results and signal processing techniques;
Application of Electromagnetics;
You are invited to present a paper in this Conference. The
Conference is also open to proposals for the organization of special
sessions in subjects related to the theoretical and computational acoustics.
The new deadline for the submission of the abstracts for contributed papers is
December 15, 2006.
If you wish to propose a special session, please contact the Chairman of the
Organizing Committee, Prof. Michael Taroudakis by November 15, 2006 (e-mail :
