Pavlos Hatzopoulos holds a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics. He currently works as a researcher on the LLP project, EPNoSL - European Policy Network on School Leadership, coordinated by the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH). Hatzopoulos is also involved in the transnational project "Logistical Worlds" funded by the Australian Research Council and run by the University of Western Sydney. From 2007 till 2013, he was senior researcher and a member of the coordinating team of the FP7 projects Mig@net and GeMIC for the Gender Institute of Panteion University, Athens. He has also worked, in the past, as a research fellow at the Department of Communication and Internet Studies of the Technological University of Cyprus. Hatzopoulos has published several articles on the themes of new media, education and social activism, has co-edited the volume Religion in International Relations: The Return from Exile (Palgrave, 2003) and has authored the book The Balkans beyond Nationalism and Identity (IB Tauris, 2007).
